It was bound to happen - Michael Phelps did it.
He TIED Mark Spitz's record of most gold medals won in one Olympic Games!!!
The U.S. swimmer took home his 7th gold in Beijing on Saturday in the 100-meter butterfly.
But, it was very very close.
Phelps clocked 1/100ths of a second faster (50.58) than his foe, Milorad Cavic of Serbia.
Now, Phelps has the opportunity to break history as he goes for his 8th gold medal.
Think he can do it???
Hell yeah!!!
